Grand Canyon University-2019

Elsheikh's induction to the GCU Hall of Fame in 2019 is a perfect example of what it means to be a GCU alumnus through service, dedication, and diversity. Elsheikh graduated from GCU in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, but the road to her degree wasn’t an easy one. Despite the struggle, she was determined to succeed for not only herself but also her family.

MLK Day of Reading

Hagir is an inspiring force for human rights, women's rights, and immigration advocacy. She is an incredible speaker who talks from experience and understand, but most of all she speaks from the heart. I feel honoured to have collaborated with her, and privileged to call her a friend.
